We are serving up some Edgemoor today!
- The Edgemoor Club is at the heart of one of Montgomery County’s most desirable neighborhoods Edgmoor.
- The tennis and swim club was founded in the 1920’s on land set aside by developer Walter Tuckerman who purchased a large farm and subdivided the area. The club became the center of top-level Washington tennis especially after members of the Dumbarton club in Georgetown move over en-mass in 1929 when that clubs land was sold.
- Edgemoor offers a wide variety of homes, be it modern or traditional, on wide streets with mature trees, and is right next to downtown Bethesda; Giving the residents great access to all sorts of shopping and dining. Talk about location.
- Edgemoor to most folks is the area around the Club but can also include parts of the Bradley Hills neighborhood.
Today we are including the area bound by Arlington Road to the east, Wilson Boulevard to the north and Bradley Boulevard the west and south.
