Beverly Hills 90210, Nope! Potomac 20854, That’s where we are!
- The area we call The Village today had been a country crossroads and was re-named Potomac in 1881. Obviously its named after the famous Potomac River located just down the hill where you can also find the C&O Canal and Great Falls national parks.
- To some it is the Beverly Hills of Maryland but to others it is a retreat outside of the Nation’s Capital with large homes and expansive lawns.
- During the 1920s and 1930s a number of estates were constructed such as the Italianate styled Marwood. Today many of Washington’s professional sport team’s owners enjoy these properties or newer inspirations of them.
- Potomac has great access into Northern Virginia, Bethesda, and one of the best collections of golf courses and country clubs in America.
