Matt has a Master of Science in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University and is a licensed broker in Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia. He has consistently been recognized as a leader in the sales and marketing of new developments by metropolitan Washington’s development and home building industries. He specializes in the representation of home buyers and sellers of million-dollar properties in Northwest Washington and neighboring Maryland and Virginia.

 

Matt has facilitated and negotiated over 1,000 transactions on behalf of his clients during his sixteen year real estate career representing owners of large estates, regional and national developers and their institutional/high-net-worth investors, as well as regional and local builders. He is sought after for his exceptional service and discretion as well as his market knowledge, professionalism, and passion for innovation. Matt utilizes sophisticated marketing practices, ranging from targeted Facebook advertising to premier placement of his listings in prestigious publications, such as The Washingtonian Magazine. Over the course of his career, Matt has developed a robust network consisting of active home buyers and sellers, industry partners and personal relationships. 

 

Prior to entering real estate Matt held sales management roles in the business systems, finance and steel industries, including an account management role with Xerox in their Manhattan office overseeing  the services provided to global entertainment corporations, such as ABC TV, Disney, and News Corp. While in Manhattan, Matt studied marketing and business at New York University. Matt holds a BA from St. Lawrence University, was raised in Bethesda, Maryland and lives in the West End neighborhood of Washington with his family.
